Poem Experiment

We randomly pointed at words in books and had to use them in a poem-- I got "culture," "mistakenly," and "Hell."  Oh, this was at the PacRim Conference :|

Some guy once told me, “We,
We’ve got a culture of pain.”
mistakenly figuring
we know
who “we” is
any more than we know
some heavens bend sideways
and some hells just float there
all atheistically greying in the clouds
of an otherwise halfway decent day
