the cat at night
lioness on the hunt
for sneaky poltergeists
slipping in the windows
while mistress is asleep
how she protects her cub
(asleep and unaware)
chases out the demons
corners them and pounces
then goes to sleep at dawn
woken by the loving hand
and purrs to please her child
ignores the mockery
... I need to work on this more-- good night!
